Next up: Drums of Autumn (Outlander #4) by Diana Gabaldon

I have heard a lot of hype about this book and while I enjoyed it, I wasn’t blown away by it. The characters were likeable enough and the plot moved nicely but I kept waiting for the book to pull me in and it just didn’t. Also, while the pictures that were used throughout the book were creepy, I feel as though it didn’t do much for the story. Even still, I will be checking out the second book in the series.

While I haven’t been a big fan of the other two books in this series, I actually did enjoy this book. Isla could be immature and annoying at times but overall, I enjoyed it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a little slow to start but it picked up quickly. I definitely look forward to reading the next two books in the series.
